Samsung DA29-00003G
Hey everyone, Aquaman
here with FilterDoctor.com. Today we’re looking at the Samsung DA29-00003G
. I
like to call it the DA29-Quad03G. This is a really popular, really
common filter that you’ll find in a variety of Samsung refrigerators.
It’s rated for standards NSF 42 and 53, so the materials are safe and it removes a very long list of contaminants. The usual suspects are on the list; chlorine, sediment, particulate, lindane, atrazine, pesticides and herbicides, cysts and microorganisms, turbidity, lead and mercury, all of the usual nasties that you don’t want in your drinking water.
It’s also certified for the unique laws and requirements of the state of California. It’s rated for approximately 300 gallons of filter life or 6 months, whichever comes first. Don’t ever leave a fridge filter in longer than 6 months, it’s just not a good idea. You need to change it faithfully at least once every 6 months.
So this is the Samsung DA29-Quad03G, and I’m your host Aquaman with FilterDoctor.com. Thanks for watching.
